Youth Engineering System & Co. quality management system is standards by the BNBC. We are committed to the Quality Management System and to its continual improvement, and thus insist that all staff and sub-contractors comply with it. The Directors establish quality objectives and monitor the achievement of them at the Management Review Meetings.

To ensure that we deliver building and civil engineering services that meet the Client’s requirements and conform to the relevant regulations, codes and specifications, Management is totally committed to providing product and service of the highest quality standards.

External verification of our system ensures a process of regular evaluation and improvement. This benefits both the Client and ourselves, and enhances our good reputation within the construction industry.

Contracts Manager Role

  • Ensures the contract is carried out in accordance with the contract documents.
  • Responsible to the Safety Director for safety and maintenance standard on site.
  • Ensuring adequate resources e.g. manpower, plant, subcontractors, materials facilities and management.
  • Liaising with Client, Design Team, Local Authorities, Utility companies etc.
  • Manages the Site Construction Team.
  • Responsible for quality on site.
  • Responsible for ensuring that our quality system is implemented.
  • Liaises with Contracts Director regarding employment and termination of employment of staff.
  • Monitors financial performance of contract.
  • Preparing and monitors programme, takes action as necessary to ensure programme targets are met.
  • Ensures all necessary contractual correspondence is issued.
  • Administration of correspondence, drawings.
  • Attends site meetings and prepare file notes and file in Job File.
  • Attend Contracts Managers Review Meeting.
  • Maintain photographic evidence.
  • Rebar Detecting (Ferroscaning).
  • Hammer (Rebound) Test.

Site Manager Role

  • Responsible for overall safety on site in particular Site Inductions, actions on Safety Audits and Inspections and preparation of Method Statements.
  • Liaises with Contracts Manager, Design Team, Subcontractors and employees.
  • Ensures work is carried out to programme.
  • Ensures Quality Systems is implemented to include check list system.
  • Requisition materials plant and subcontractors.
  • Calls in materials.
  • Co-ordinate works on site to ensure efficient production of buildings.
  • Maintain Daily Allocation sheets and Diary.
  • Site Administration.
  • Attendance at Site Meetings.
  • Maintains site accommodation.
  • Setting out.
  • Checks and signs for deliveries.
  • Checking of Drawing Register.
  • Maintaining plant.
  • Preparing as built surveys.
  • Checking specifications.
  • Materials testing.
  • Supervision of site labour.
  • Ensures materials are correctly stored.
  • Maintain site security.
  • Maintain photographic evidence.

A contract was signed on 1st March 2015 between LGED and Toma Construction & Co. Ltd. for "Construction of Khulna Coal Based Power Plant Connecting Road " at LGED H/Q under Bangladesh Power Development Board. Mr. Shyama Prosad Adhikari, Chief Engineer, LGED and other LGED high officials were also present on that occasion.
